Just a quick comment on your mention of the head blogger from TSA, Bob Burns.
As one of the frequent readers of the TSA’s blog I’d like to just let you know that “Blogger Bob” is the name we, the blog commenters, gave him, and is not necessarily something he would have chosen for himself. We started using that name to refer to him, and he just rolled with it.
Without knowing that background, it really is unfair to complain about how “unprofessional” his use of the nick “Blogger Bob” is. His acceptance of the nick that we applied to him was, and is, an excellent response to our doing that. It made him more human and helped the blog.
